Just before lockdown in March 2020 she got to work opposite Paloma Faith in Pennyworth. Her episode aired in March 2021 and is available to watch on StarzPlay via Amazon Prime Video in the UK.

The end of 2020 saw two more book readings, Mrs Dilber in A Christmas Carol and Nelly Dean in Wuthering Heights.

Lainey is delighted to be working on her 3rd live bookreading for BooksOffice. Trickster by Sam Michaels. Set in Battersea between the Wars, she gets to play the gloriously named Fanny Mipple, and appears through out the book.

Lainey was recently involved in an online rehearsed reading of a new play, How to Love Forever by Tom Harvey, presented by the Dramatists Guild of America.

Lainey recently appeared as Catherine Petkoff in George Bernard Shaw's ARMS AND THE MAN. Touring to Highgate, Ayot St Lawrence, Broadstairs & Bedfordshire with a mix of outdoor & indoor productions.  For a review from The Ham & High please see here
